Welcome to my soap manufactory.

My name is Denise, the creative head as well as the busy hand behind ArtSavon.

​

I made my first batch of soap in 2012, after educating myself for months and learning everything there was to know about ingredients, handling lye, gel phase and curing time. Since this very first time, I'm totally hooked on making and using my own products.

Soap making has become the ultimate expression of the unification of my two biggest passions: 

              being creative and saving the environment

All my soaps are handcrafted in my small soap workshop in the south of Luxembourg according to the european cosmetics directive.

I use food grade ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, almond oil, canola oil, castor oil, ... No palm oil is used! All soaps are superfatted, which means that there is a small amount of the beneficial oils left in the bar of soap that nourishes the skin.

​

As I'm striving to live a zero waste life, I will not wrap my soaps in plastic. I chose paperbags or cellophane bags instead.
